Welcome To Dreamland Farms!
I'd like to be able to have a place where I can post pictures of the farm...hope this works! I've been having a great time getting this place established... we live on 20 acres in NE Washington, nice and rural around here...what a change from the Seattle area we moved from. Joe calls this God's Country, and I have to agree. We actually have 4 seasons here, (let's see, rain, snow, mud and dust lol) and I have become a converted snow wimp. Besides, the snowy weather gives me time to learn to spin and knit all the great fiber I'll be getting from my herd. We have had our latest editions last week. Elvis and Jerry Lee, suri alpacas, soon to be geldings. They share the pasture with my 4 pygora goats, and 7 muscovy ducks and 10 chickens. The barn also holds about 20 rabbits and my last 2 guinea pigs, plus some dumbo eared blue rats. And can't forget Barry and Mandy, my 2 himalayans, they keep the wild rodent population in check. Let's see, oh yeah, Jenna, the mini aussie, who helps me round up the ducks or goats on occasion, and Dutch the german shepherd mix patrol the outside of the pasture, when they aren't rolling in something or dragging off shoes. Anyway, I will be posting pictures soon, and I'd love to hear from other fiber addicts... thanks for stopping by!
